Air Scrubbers for Odor Chemical Control
The air scrubbers recommended in this category feature the large deep-bed
activated carbon filters to allow toxins and odors the maximum dwell time.
Why is dwell time important?
Dwell time is vital for cleaning airborne chemicals and odors.
The longer toxins are forced to hang-around or "dwell" in the carbon filter, the more likely they are to get adsorbed.
These serious air scrubbers aggressively clean the air of hazardous airborne particles, pathogens and gases. Air scrubbers should be powerful enough to clean your air volume 6 times per hour. For example, a 20 by 30 foot room with a 12 foot ceiling has a volume of 7,200 cubic feet. In this example your air scrubber must deliver 720 cubic feet of clean air each minute to clean the air 6 times per hour.

The Air Marshal 4000 contains an electrostatic particle filter and a 36 lb. 3.50 inch deep carbon filter. A pre-filter captures larger particles.
A hose can be connected to the 12" exhaust flange to create a negative air pressure zone.
A 12" intake flange may be ordered with the Air Scrubber. This allows for the creation of a positive pressure zone or direct ducting to equipment.
